Second Eastern European and Mediterranean Software Process Improvement Conference

EuroMed SPI 2011 is the Second Edition of this conference series, organized by the ICT/European Software Institute Division of TECNALIA (ESI) in collaboration with the Software Engineering Institute (SEI) and devoted to Software Process Improvement in Eastern European and Mediterranean countries.

Through this conference series ESI & SEI aim to develop competitiveness in the software sector in the Eastern European and Mediterranean countries by promoting best practices in software engineering.

This year the EuroMed SPI II will take place in Zamudio, Spain, 6^th-7^th October.

This way, in October 2011, Zamudio will become the meeting point for software professionals to discuss topics related to the current challenges software development companies are facing and a variety of possible solutions and opportunities for the future.

TECNALIA is the local host of this initiative.

From 6^th to 7^th of October Zamudio will be a forum for companies and organizations of the region to report and share their experiences in improving their software process capabilities, and to raise the awareness about the need for professional, mature processes and safe, secure and dependable applications as a key competitive advantage.
